This policy covers Kerbside Solutions. We decide how your personal information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law. If you have any questions, email hello@kerbside.solutions.

What we collect and why

The free review card

When you make a review card we ask for your email so we can send you a copy. We keep your email address, where you signed up, and whether you ticked the box for tips, with the date and time you did.

• Sending your card: legitimate interests, because you asked for it.
• Sending the odd useful tip: your consent, only if you tick the box. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

We don't keep a copy of the card itself once it's been emailed. To stop the tool being misused, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for 24 hours.

Enquiries and look-overs

If you email, ring or book a look-over, we keep your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about your business, so we can reply and put a plan together. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interests in answering enquiries.

Customers

If you buy from us we keep your contact and billing details, what you've bought, and our messages about your setup. The legal basis is our contract with you, and the law, because we have to keep accounting records.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

This website

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure. If you book a kickoff after buying, the Cal.com booking tool on that page may set its own cookies.

Your customers' data

When we run tools for your business, such as bookings, missed-call texts, quotes, reminders and review requests, we handle your customers' details on your behalf. For that information you are the controller and we are your "processor". We only use it to run your setup, as set out in the data processing section of our terms.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business:

• Cloudflare, for hosting this website and storing data.
• Stripe, for payments and subscriptions.
• Cal.com, for booking look-overs and kickoffs.
• Resend, for sending emails such as your review card.
• [SMS provider], for text messages sent by our packages.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that's the case, your information is protected by UK-approved safeguards. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

• Review card emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Enquiries that don't go anywhere: 12 months.
• Customer and billing records: six years after you leave, because the law says so.
• Your customers' data: until your plan ends, then returned or deleted as set out in our terms.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to how we use it, or take a copy with you. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@kerbside.solutions and we'll reply within a month.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is big, we'll tell customers directly.
